Creating AURORActive

Auroractive is named after my double rainbow baby, Aurora. I was pregnant with natural triplets (total fluke!!) and when you have multiple babies, they name them on the ultrasound for you, so you know who is who. In our case babies A, B & C. We lost babies A&B along the way and decided to gift baby C with their initials so she can carry them with her wherever she goes., which is how we came up with -- Aurora Bellarose Cochran.

When this happened it was really hard to go through, and I started going to the gym to workout because I blamed myself and thought there must be something wrong with my body, and maybe I could fix it. Through this journey I slowly realized that it wasn't my fault, I wasn't broken, and there was nothing that needed to be fixed. I realized that my body is actually strong, and I found peace in my wellness journey.

It did however kick me into discovering a new WHY. I realized that living an active lifestyle to me meant more than just working out, it was being present in my own life, being active in my community, and actively giving back.

Auroractive was designed to help inspire anyone who needs to know that they are not broken, nothing needs to be fixed, and you can find strength in many ways, one of them is in being active. It was also created as a way to give back to my community. The flexiblity to volunteer more, as well as give more through proceeds of this line. I am hand-picking charities that I believe in and want to support to give back to that align with my moral compass. I am so love with my new gear from Auroractive! I purchased the Once a CheetAah set. The animal print in pink is so adorable! The material is super soft and buttery smooth. I could literally wear this set all day! I selected a small for my bra and medium for the leggings. They are true to size but if you’re looking for a tight fit you can definitely size down. I am a 34 C and I usually wear a size 8 in pants. I have a ton of support on my top which I need as a mother who has breastfed twice (hint hint) but it doesn’t hurt my neck or back like other bras I’ve purchased. The material is very stretchy and forgiving. This set fits all my curves the right way and the leggings aren’t too long which is a bonus for me. I’m about 5’4 and they come right down to my ankles comfortably. I loved all of the details down to the adorable packaging and super sweet thank you note from Erica. My bra even came in a cute little wristlet bag I can use to carry personal items while I’m on the go! I’m super happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this line to anyone looking for comfy and trendy active wear. The icing on the cake is knowing that everything is eco-friendly and I’m supporting an awesome mompreneur who is always giving back to the women around her and her community.

I am super picky when it comes to activewear and when I tried Auroractive for the first time, I was honestly SO impressed! The color is exactly what the site pictured, they are buttery soft, and fit like a glove. I don’t have to pull them up throughout the day and they snatch me in. I will even go as far as saying this is probably my new favorite brand when it comes to sports bras - and I’ve tried them all! Lulu, Victoria’s Secret, Zella, Nike, you name it. I am obsessed and a customer for life!
